Waltham, Massachusetts is part of the Metro West area of the greater Boston area. Recognized as the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, it is also known for its large office market. Its convenience to Route 128 make it an attractive location for homeowners and businesses. AS like many communities around Boston, it is a busy city with a population of about 57,000. Waltham was incorporated as a town in 1738 and as a city in 1884.

The real estate in the city has a quite varied selection of housing. There is a large selection of single family homes primarily priced in the upper $200Ks to $1.1M. Waltham also has a decent selection of two and three family buildings usually priced between $400K and $1.2M. It also has many condos available that are priced between around $150K and $750K.
